Autism Assessment - Comprehensive Report

This assessment is for those seeking formal identification of Autism with a thorough report. The report includes a background summary, details of how you meet the diagnostic criteria, and all your test results with clear information and graphs to help you interpret them. Additionally, brief recommendations are included.

Standardised questionnaires. Completed at home.
Session 1. Assessment interview - 2 hours
Session 2. Feedback session - 50 mins
Final report.

The cost of this service is $1900 plus GST, which includes the diagnostic interview, a feedback session, and the report. This also covers the psychologist's time for scoring and interpreting assessment tools, preparing for the sessions, and writing the report.

There are two appointments in total. The diagnostic session will take up to 2 hours. The feedback session will be another 50 minutes. You will be sent a range of online assessments, and forms to complete that are part of your assessment process. These need to be returned as soon as possible as they form part of the assessment report.

Please note that we cannot guarantee the diagnostic report will be sufficient for NDIS funding. The NDIS determines eligibility based on an individual's 'level of functioning' among other factors beyond our control. If accessing the NDIS is a primary goal, you may be better served by an alternative service.

Important Things to Consider

• Assessment appointments require payment to be made at the time of booking.
• Appointments are conducted during business hours.
• Medicare rebates are not available for assessments.
• As best practice, assessments will screen for both Autism and ADHD together due to the high comorbidity between these two neurotypes.
• Assessments are conducted with adolescents and adults (12 years and older)
• We cannot guarantee that the diagnostic reports will be sufficient for NDIS funding.

The NDIS determines eligibility based on an individual's 'level of functioning' and other factors beyond our control. You may also need an additional assessment and report from an Occupational Therapist to strengthen your application. If your goal is to access the NDIS, you may be better served by an alternative service.
